Andy Coulson is accused of perjury
The former editor of the News of the World, Andy Coulson, will stand trial in Scotland on a charge of perjury next month.
The 47-year-old's trial had been due to begin at the High Court in Edinburgh next week.
However, at a preliminary hearing a judge fixed a new date of 11 May.
The charge relates to the trial of socialist politician Tommy Sheridan and his wife Gail at the High Court in Glasgow in December 2010.
A tweet from the Judges Scotland account said: "HMA v Andrew Edward Coulson: new trial date set for 11 May 2015 at 10am in Edinburgh High Court."
