Tara and Maisie enjoyed the sunrise at Ardmore Point, Helensburgh.

Scott McLucas-Paton watched the sun come up from The Old Man of Storr on Skye on Tuesday morning. "Not a soul in sight," he said.

Alec Farmer was doing a "dawn dash" from Glen Affric to Glasgow when the sun rose over Glencoe. "Not a bad commute," he said.

This cormorant was spotted on the River Clyde near New Lanark by Jack Alston.

Shona Penfold and Iona MacKinnon enjoyed a lovely walk to the Fairy Bridge by Appin.

Norrie Adamson, of Balmullo, Fife, photographed Eilean Donan Castle on his way home from a break on Skye. "I could submit dozens of photos," he said.

Andy Leonard took this picture at Loch Muick, near Braemar. "By chance the deer appeared, roaring to its competitors, on the hillside with the moon rising behind it," he said.
