Victim in A92 crash in Fife is named by police

Police in Fife have named the victim of a fatal road crash on the A92 on Sunday as 54-year-old George Izatt of Methil.

Mr Izatt was the driver of a Ford Focus which was involved in a collision with an MG car.

The crash happened at 0540 BST on Sunday on the A92 near to Luthrie.

Five other passengers from the vehicles were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment of minor to serious injuries.

Their conditions were not thought to be life-threatening.
