Biker dies after crash with car in Fife

A motorcyclist has died after being involved in a crash with a car on a road in the east of Scotland.

A spokesman for Fife Constabulary said the collision between the motorbike and a Vauxhall Corsa car happened at about 1715 BST on Saturday on the Colinsburgh to Pittenweem Road.

The spokesman said the male motorcyclist was fatally injured.

Officers appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash or events running up to it to contact them.
