Man, 22, dies in Fife road accident

A 22-year-old man has died after being seriously injured in a two-vehicle road crash in Fife.

The accident happened on the A911 between Glenrothes and Leven at about 0845 BST.

The man, who has not been named, was taken by ambulance to the Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline but later died from his injuries.

Police closed the A911 for several hours while an investigation into the accident was carried out.
