Family tribute to motorcyclist who died in Fife crash

The family of a 22-year-old motorcyclist who died after a crash in Fife has said he will be sorely missed.

Craig Kaempfe was seriously injured in a collision involving his Honda motorcycle and a white transit van on the A911 between Glenrothes and Leven.

He was taken to hospital after the accident on Tuesday morning, but later died from his injuries.

In a statement, his family said he was a loved son, brother and friend.

No other person was injured in the collision and the A911 was closed for about five hours while investigators examined the scene.

Insp Brenda Sinclair, of Fife Constabulary, said: "Our thoughts are with Craig's family at this sad time."
