Pedestrian killed in Fife crash

A man has died after being hit by a car in Fife.

The 43-year-old, who has not been named, was killed on the A921 between Burntisland and Kinghorn.

Fife Constabulary said the incident, which involved one vehicle, happened at about 1845 GMT on Friday.

The force has appealed for anyone with information about the incident to get in touch. They have also urged pedestrians and drivers to be extra vigilant while travelling on icy roads.
