Road shut after fire at take-away

A road in Fife was closed for a time after a fire in a Chinese take-away.

Fife Fire and Rescue Service said three appliances attended the blaze, which blocked Lady Wynd Road in Cupar.

Police were called to put a road closure in place to allow firefighters to attend the fire, which started at 0615 GMT in the Lucky Jade.

Firefighters managed to get the blaze in the three storey building under control by 0730 GMT. No-one was inside at the time of the incident.
