Four in hospital after Edinburgh flat stabbing

Lothian and Borders Police said they were following a positive line of inquiry

Four people have been taken to hospital after at fight at a block of flats in Edinburgh.

Detectives said three women and one man, all in their late teens to early 20s, suffered stab wounds during the incident in Muirhouse Way.

A spokesman for Lothian and Borders Police said the injuries were not life threatening.

The fight happened at about 0500 GMT with a number of police being called as well as three ambulances.

Six people were in the flat and officers confirmed that they were all known to each other.

A Lothian and Borders Police spokesman said: "We are following a positive line of inquiry in relation to the incident."
