Fife care home fire victim named


An elderly man who died after a fire in a care home in Fife last week has been named by police.

Charles Clark, 70, died from burns following the blaze, which started in a smoking room at the Henderson House Care Home in Link Road, Dalgety Bay.

The fire was reported in the building's first floor at 0840 GMT on 11 February.

Mr Clark was taken to Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline, but died later that day. None of the other 60 residents or staff were injured.
