Teenage girl freed from basketball hoop

A 14-year-old girl had to be rescued from a basketball hoop after she tried to "slam dunk" herself through it.
She had been playing at Albert Park play area in Wallyford, East Lothian at 1945 GMT on Wednesday when she tried to drop though the hoop feet first.
But her clothes bunched up and she became stuck.
A Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service crew from Musselburgh managed to free her clothes and she slipped through safely.
"She had no injuries - apart from her pride," a spokesman for Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service said.
