Four people arrested in Fife drug raids

Three men and a woman have been arrested after police seized £150,000 of illegal drugs in Fife.

Fife Constabulary said the haul included cocaine, amphetamine, diazepam and mephedrone.

The drugs were seized from two properties in Lochgelly. The force said the seizure would bring "significant disruption" to gangs in the area.

The four people who were arrested in the raids are due to appeal at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

Det Ch Insp Stuart Johnstone said: "Tackling drugs and serious organised crime is a very high priority for Fife Constabulary.

"The discovery of this substantial amount of Class A, B and C drugs will have caused significant disruption to such organised criminal activities within Fife."
