Man charged following South Queensferry A90 death

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a pedestrian on the A90 near Edinburgh.

Vanessa Miller, 36, from the Clermiston area of the city, died after she was struck by a vehicle on Tuesday 18 October.

The road was closed for about nine hours to allow the police to investigate.

A police spokesman said: "A 65-year-old has been charged with various road traffic offences."
