Fife police chief reported over crash

The Chief Constable of Fife Police has been reported to the procurator fiscal in relation to a road accident earlier this month.

Norma Graham was involved in a collision with another car near Fife Police Headquarters.

She and the other driver were taken to hospital.

The Crown Office has confirmed that it has received a report about a 49-year-old woman in connection with an incident. No-one has been charged.

A statement from the Crown Office said: "We can confirm that the procurator fiscal for Fife has received a report concerning a 49-year-old woman in connection with an incident on 7 February 2012 .

"The report remains under the consideration of the procurator fiscal."
