Ocean Terminal pair charged over 'child dangling'

Two people have been charged over an incident where a child was said to have been dangled upside down by his legs in an Edinburgh shopping centre.

Police went to Edinburgh's Ocean Terminal following reports from shoppers of a "domestic incident".

A man, 44, and a woman, 28, have been charged under the Children and Young Persons Act following Monday's incident.

The pair are to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.
