Men rescued from Isle of May after quad bike crash
Two men were rescued by lifeboat after their quad bike tipped over on an island off the east coast of Scotland.
Forth Coastguard said the men, aged 21 and 25, were working on the Isle of May, in the Firth of Forth, when the accident happened at about 20:50 on Thursday.
The 21-year-old was believed to have a broken ankle, while the other man was said to be "shaken up".
A coastguard spokesman said the men were picked up by Anstruther Lifeboat.
They were then transferred to a waiting ambulance and taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
