Motorcyclist, 66, hurt in Edinburgh collision

A 66-year-old man was seriously injured after his motorcycle was involved in a crash with a car in Edinburgh.

The incident, which involved a Peugot estate, occurred at the Old Craighall roundabout at its junction with the A720 at 18:30 on Saturday.

The injured man was taken by ambulance to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Lothian and Borders Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
