Man, 67, killed by collapsed wall in West Lothian

A man has died after a wall collapsed on him at his home in West Lothian.

The 67-year-old was crushed under the wall at about 12:15 on Saturday in Langton View in East Calder.

He was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary but succumbed to his injuries soon after arriving.

Lothian and Borders Police and the Health and Safety Executive are now conducting a joint investigation into the incident.
