Man hit by lorry in Lundin Links in Fife 'critical'

A man has been critically injured when he was knocked down by a lorry in Fife.

The pedestrian was hit at the east end of Lundin Links at about 11:45.

He received medical care from a doctor within a few minutes of the accident happening and was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.

A number of roads were closed for several hours while an accident investigation was carried out. Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses.
