Fife motorist killed in crash named as John Dempster

A man who died after the car he was driving was involved in a collision with a lorry on a rural road in Fife has been named.

John Dempster, 32, from Lochgelly, was killed in a crash at the bottom of a road known as Liza Brae on the B981 between Cardenden and Lochgelly.

A skip lorry crashed with a Vauxhall Astra and the lorry went down an embankment on Thursday at 14:40.

Mr Dempster, the driver of the car, died at the scene.
