Large quantity of drugs stolen from Dalkeith pharmacy

A thief who stole a large quantity of drugs after breaking into a Midlothian chemist is being sought by police.

The man, wearing a white beanie hat, broke through the door of the pharmacy in Eskdale Court, Dalkeith, on Monday.

He stole 1,124 Diazapam tablets, 6,552 Dihydracodine pills, 420 Zimovane tablets, 700 Clonazepam pills, 560 Codeine, 72 Viagra and 24 Sildenafil.

He is white, of slim build and was wearing jeans and a dark top.

The pharmacy bought the medication for about £800.
