Man charged with murder over disappearance of Alexander Cameron
A man has been charged with murder following the disappearance of another man from his home in West Lothian.
Alexander Cameron, 67, was last seen at the property in Newcraighall Road in Kirknewton on 19 January. He was reported missing three days later.
Police Scotland launched a murder investigation and said a 58-year-old man had now been charged. It is understood that no body has been found.
The man is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
In 2010, Mr Cameron was jailed for six years for setting up a cannabis factory in disused dog kennels in West Lothian.
