Two in hospital after Newbridge chemical scare

Two people have been taken to hospital as a precaution following a chemical incident in Edinburgh.

Firefighters were called to the DHL depot in Newbridge at about 09:05 after receiving reports of an unknown vapour in a warehouse.

A specialist chemical unit also attended.

No harmful substances were found and the smell was thought to have come from anti-freeze on aircraft shipping containers due to low temperatures.
