Owners of a lamb found tangled in barbed wire in East Lothian are being urged to come forward.

The Scottish SPCA was called on Thursday after a member of the public spotted the female lamb just off the A1 close to Tranent.

The animal is now in the care of the Scottish SPCA's Edinburgh and Lothians Animal Rescue and Rehoming centre where staff have named her April.

April does not have an identification tag or a chip.
