Concern is mounting for a teenage boy from Edinburgh who has been missing for a week, police have said.

Kaylume Ramage, 14, was last seen leaving a flat on Northfield Drive at about 16:30 on Thursday 23 June.

He has a number of friends in the north of the city and may be in the Drylaw or Leith area.

He is white, about 5ft 7in tall, of slim build, and has short brown hair and pale complexion.

He was last seen wearing a grey top, black bottoms and grey trainers.

Sgt Sandra Watt of Police Scotland said: "Obviously our concern for Kaylume is increasing all the time and we are keen to trace him safe and well as quickly as possible.

"I'd ask everyone to please take a look at his photo and let police know if you have seen him or have information on his whereabouts."
