Man's body found in Edinburgh's Water of Leith

The body was found in the water near Murrayfield Stadium

Police are investigating after the body of a man was found in an Edinburgh river.

The body was discovered in the Water of Leith near Saughtonhall Avenue just after noon.

The site is near Murrayfield rugby stadium.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Inquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the man and the full circumstances of his death."
