Two men have been arrested following a large-scale disturbance in the centre of Glasgow.
Police said the violence flared between a group of Asian men, some of whom had weapons, in and around Queen Street between 0200 and 0300 BST on Monday.
The two men, aged 39 and 21, were later arrested. They are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
Officers are studying CCTV footage from the area to identify the other people involved in the disturbance.
Det Con Robert Lawrie, of Strathclyde Police, said: "This type of violent and disorderly behaviour is completely unacceptable and we are continuing to examine CCTV footage in order to identify other people believed to be involved.
"The persons involved in this incident are believed to be a group of Asian males and it has been reported that some of the males involved were in possession of weapons.
"I would urge anyone who was involved in the incident or who was in and around the area at the time of the incident to make contact with us."
