Loch Lomond bike crash victim named by police

A man who was killed when his motorbike collided with a bus near Loch Lomond at the weekend has been named by police.

Tom Clelland, 62, who lived in the Lenzie area, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on Sunday on the A82 at Firkin Point in Inverbeg.

Police said a full report on the crash would be forwarded to the procurator fiscal.

Mr Clelland was one of at least three people to die in separate accidents on Scotland's roads last weekend.

A 31-year-old man died after being hit by a car while walking along the A82 on Saturday near Luss, in Argyll.

On Sunday a man was killed and five others taken to hospital in Dundee after a crash on the A92 in Fife.
