Big tailback after crash on M8 motorway

Major traffic disruption has been caused on the eastbound M8 through Glasgow after a serious accident involving at least two cars.
The incident happened at about 1434 BST between junction 14 Fruitmarket and junction 13 Provan.
Emergency services are on the scene and traffic is queuing eastbound from junction 24 Helen Street.
It is unclear at present if anyone has been injured in the crash.
