M8 moving after six-car accident
- Published
Major delays on the eastbound M8 motorway have cleared following an early morning crash in West Lothian.
Police said six cars were involved in the crash, close to Harthill Services, at about 0640 BST on Wednesday.
The middle lane of the carriageway was closed for several hours after oil leaked from one of the cars involved.
At one point, the tailback stretched as far back as Ballieston in Glasgow. Police said traffic conditions had since returned to normal.
