Man arrested over death in house in Larkhall

A 40-year-old man has been arrested after a man died at a house in Larkhall, South Lanarkshire.

Andrew Campbell, 48, who was from the town, was found with serious injuries at a property in Abbotsford Avenue at about 0500 GMT on Tuesday.

Emergency services were called but he died at the scene.

A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal. The man who was arrested is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
