A police woman remains in hospital after being hit by a car while dealing with a road accident in Ayrshire.
Two officers were injured in the incident, which happened on the A77, near Kilmarnock, on Christmas Day.
The pair were initially taken to Crosshouse Hospital in the town, although the male police officer was later released.
The woman is believed to have suffered a number of broken bones. Her condition is not life-threatening.
Strathclyde Police said inquiries were ongoing to establish whether icy on the road contributed to the crash.
Meanwhile, police forces across the country urged drivers to take care on the roads on Sunday as black ice was affecting routes across Scotland.
