An investigation is under way after a Royal Mail Delivery Office in East Dunbartonshire was evacuated following a health scare involving staff.
Emergency services were called to the depot in Campsie Road, Kirkintilloch, at 0915 GMT on Thursday after five workers complained of feeling unwell.
All 36 staff were evacuated and those who felt unwell recovered once outside. They did not require medical treatment.
It is thought that ink from leaflets at the centre caused them to feel unwell.
A Royal Mail spokeswoman said: "Royal Mail can confirm that an incident took place at Kirkintilloch Delivery Office yesterday morning which resulted in the building being evacuated.
"We are working closely with Strathclyde Police on their investigation into this incident.
"Royal Mail responded quickly to the incident as our first concern is the health and safety of our people.
"Royal Mail apologises to customers in Kirkintilloch who have received some disruption to their service yesterday."
