Woman 'critical' after A82 Ardlui car crash

A 65-year-old woman is in a critical condition following a car crash near Ardlui, Loch Lomond.

The accident, involving a white Ford van and a grey Renault car, happened at 1740 BST on Friday.

The 57-year-old male driver of the van and the three female occupants of the car were all taken to the Royal Alexandria Hospital in Paisley.

The van driver was later released. The car driver, 61, and passenger, 57, were described as serious but stable.

Strathclyde Police have appealed for anyone who has any information about the accident to contact them.
