Men arrested over failed security guard robbery
Two men have been arrested in connection with the attempted robbery of a security guard in Glasgow.
The G4S security worker was approached as he took money into the Santander Bank on Victoria Road on 22 August.
He was forced into the bank and threatened with a handgun by two men who demanded cash.
Police said two men, aged 21 and 46, are being held in connection with the incident. They are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
No cash was taken in the attempted robbery.
A car was later found burnt out at Moray Place near the junction with Regent's Park Square.
