Man killed by lorry on Glasgow's Calder Road

A man has died after being struck by an lorry in the Govanhill area of Glasgow.

The man, who has yet to be identified, died at the scene after being hit while walking on Calder Street at 09:40. The 37-year-old driver was not injured.

The dead man is described as white and very slim. He is believed to have been in his 60s and was wearing a dark jacket, jumper, jeans and baseball cap.

Police want to speak to witnesses or anyone who may be able to help identify the dead man.
