Man charged over death at Glasgow flats

A 40-year-old man is charged with murder after the death of another man found lying outside a block of flats in Glasgow.

The 37-year-old was found injured in Cornalee Place in the Crookston area of the city by emergency services who were called to the scene on Thursday.

He was taken to Southern General Hospital but died a short time later.

Ian Hamilton, from Glasgow, made no plea or declaration when he appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court.

The case was continued for further examination and he was remanded in custody.
