A driver has escaped injury after his lorry overturned during a delivery job next to the River Clyde in Glasgow.

The incident, outside the Glasgow Science Centre, happened as the lorry was reversing on Monday morning.

A member of staff from the Science Centre told the BBC the lorry overturned while making a delivery for the nearby Waverley Paddle Steamer.

A rescue truck is on the scene at Pacific Quay while preparations are made to remove the overturned vehicle.

A spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said officers had not been called to the incident.
