Cannabis plants worth £218K seized in Hamilton flats

Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £218,000 have been seized in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire.

Officers from Strathclyde Police, acting under warrant, searched two flats in the town's Quarry Street at about 18:25 on Wednesday.

After finding the cannabis plants, officers arrested three men, aged 30, 35 and 42.

The men are currently in police custody and are expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday.
