Man, 42, arrested over murder bid in Govan

A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged attempted murder in the Govan area of Glasgow.

A 47-year-old man was treated for stab wounds at the city's Southern General Hospital following an incident in Harmony Place at 20:00 on 29 July.

Strathclyde Police said that a 42-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the alleged attempted murder and was being held in custody.

He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday.
