Drugs worth £20,000 found at two homes in Wishaw

Drugs worth an estimated street value of £20,000 have been seized in Wishaw, in North Lanarkshire.

Officers searched two properties under warrant, in Goldcrest Court, and recovered a quantity of cocaine, amphetamine and cannabis, as well as about 10 kilos of cutting agent.

A 45-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the seizure, which took place at about 15:00 on Friday.

The man is due before Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
