Police have said the death of a woman whose body was found beside the River Clyde was not suspicious.

The body of Victoria Sloss, 23, was found close to Napier Drive in Glasgow on Saturday morning.

Following a post mortem examination, her death is not thought to have been suspicious.

However, a spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said the force was still keen to establish Ms Sloss's movements before her body was found.

Inquiries have revealed that Ms Sloss got out of a silver-coloured taxi in Seaward Street, Glasgow, at about about 04:30 on Friday.

She was described as being about 5ft 6in tall with a slim build and very long brown hair, and had been wearing a white t-shirt, maroon jumper, blue legging jeans and knee high beige Ugg boots.

Anyone with any information which can help officers trace Victoria's movement is asked to contact Helen Street Police Office.
