Three youths reported over Wemyss Bay train disorder

Three youths have been reported to the procurator fiscal over disorder and vandalism on a train from Wemyss Bay to Glasgow Central.

The boys, two of whom are aged 16 and one 15, are alleged to have been involved in the incidents on 18 May.

British Transport Police said at the time that about 30 youths boarded the train at Inverkip station.

They smashed glass panels and pulled the emergency brake handles, preventing the train doors closing.

Some then discharged the train's fire extinguishers, spraying water on other passengers throughout three carriages.
