Shop director Donald Tiso dies in climbing accident

A director of outdoor clothing firm Tiso has died in a climbing accident.

Donald Tiso is believed to have fallen on Ben Starav, a Munro near Taynuilt in Argyll, on Friday night.

The 50-year-old was flown by a Royal Navy Search and Rescue helicopter to Belford Hospital in Fort William where he was pronounced dead.

Tiso was founded in 1962 by the late Graham Tiso and his wife Maude. It has 11 shops in Scotland. Their son Chris, Donald's brother, is chief executive.
