British Transport Police (BTP) are appealing for witnesses over a mass brawl on a train in South Lanarkshire.

The force said it received reports of fighting among a group of about 30 people while the train was at Blantyre station on Saturday night.

The incident took place on the fourth coach of the 21:58 Glasgow Central to Larkhall service just after 22:10.

CCTV images are being reviewed in a bid to identify those involved. Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP.
