Robert Moyes jailed for raping woman at house in Glasgow

A man who raped a woman after he stopped her leaving a house in Glasgow has been jailed for three years.

Robert Moyes, 33, attacked the woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, in the city's Carntyne area on 9 March.

The High Court in Edinburgh heard how he forced her to have sex after she tried to leave his company.

Moyes was remanded in prison following his conviction last month. He was also ordered him to be supervised for two years after his release from jail.
