Third man charged with murder over Girvan death

A third man has appeared in court charged with murdering a father-of-four outside his home in South Ayrshire.

Adam Lundy, 27, from Girvan, is accused of killing 44-year-old John Kiltie, who was found outside his home in the town's Park Road on Saturday.

At Ayr Sheriff Court, Mr Lundy, who is also charged with assault and carrying a weapon, made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.

Two other men are also in custody after appearing in court on Monday.

Kern Allison, 18, and Nicholas Goodwin, 24, are also accused of murdering Mr Kiltie.

Mr Allison, of Maybole, and Mr Goodwin, of Ayr, made no pleas nor declarations during their court appearances and were remanded in custody.
