Police have said the family of a man who has been missing from his home in East Dunbartonshire since the weekend are "growing increasingly concerned".

Stuart Teese, 54, was last seen leaving his home in Stirling Avenue, Bearsden, at about 20:30 on Saturday.

He drove off in his silver Ford Fiesta Zetec (registration SH11 EHM). Police believe is is possible he may have visited the Loch Lomond area.

Mr Teese is about 5ft 8in tall, of medium build, with short, grey hair.

He is normally clean shaven and was last seen wearing a blue and grey T-shirt with horizontal stripes, beige shorts and slippers or shoes.

Insp Duncan Evans said: "Stuart is close to his family and they are growing increasingly concerned for him and just want him home safe and well.

"He often visited the Loch Lomond and Rowardennan areas, so, it's possible he may have travelled there.

"If anyone has seen Stuart or his car then please contact officers as soon as possible and pass the information on."
