Man to stand trial over Possilpark street death
A man accused of murdering a man in a Glasgow street before fleeing to England is to stand trial later this year.
Robert Letham, 32, is charged with killing Steven Russell in Possilpark in February.
The allegation includes a claim he struck the 20-year-old with a knife.
During a short hearing at the High Court in Glasgow, the 32-year-old's lawyer entered a not guilty plea on his behalf.
Letham, along with 28-year-old Laura Graham, also faces a charge of attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
It is claimed the knife was disposed of and that they travelled to England and elsewhere in the UK after the alleged killing.
Lawyers for both of them pled not guilty on their behalf.
Judge Lord Burns set a trial due to start in October.
