Secondary school evacuated after gas leak
A Glasgow secondary school has been evacuated after a gas leak.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) initially responded to a fire alarm at Hyndland Secondary School, in the city's west end, about 15:00.
A fire service spokesman confirmed two appliances were sent to the school and firefighters discovered a gas leak had occurred in the building.
The spokesman said staff and children had been evacuated before fire crews arrived and there were no casualties.
A Glasgow City Council spokeswoman said engineers were working to repair the leak and the school was expected to reopen on Wednesday.
